What can I expect from my first visit to a Chiropractor?
On your first visit to Health First Chiropractic, we will conduct a thorough examination using state-of-the-art equipment to determine the best path of chiropractic care for you. Please be sure to wear something comfortable as these scans will require full back access. A new patient assessment may include:
Posture Picture – By taking your picture and using special computer software, we are able to create a digital model of your spine and detect any postural irregularities.
Rolling Thermal Examination – This allows us to look at the autonomic nervous system (the part of the nervous system that controls the blood vessels, organs and glands).
EMG Scan – This allows us to look at your motor nerves (the nerves that control your muscles).
Foot Scan – This is another tool that is used to evaluate your postural health. A digital image of your feet is created and used to determine your weight distribution on each foot and indicates imbalances or weakness in your feet.
